First workshop starts on the 8th September...
Micklems Farm are opening our doors again for our first workshop on 8 September. We have spent the last few weeks implementing various measures to make our studio as safe as possible for our students and tutors on their return in September. With just under 1000 sq ft of floor space, a new large demo area with a wall mounted monitor will allow students to be socially distanced during tutor demonstrations and our ten work stations are now set further apart with more open flow areas in the centre of the studio.
We have a central hands-free hand sanitising station and our own fogging system using anti-viral disinfectant (tested against Coronavirus). We are providing disposable cutlery at the tea and coffee station and paper hand towels for hand washing. We will be asking students to bring their own mugs and face masks. As far as the weather allows, the large patio doors onto the garden will be kept open and we will have tables and chairs and a marquee for eating lunch outside. We hope that these measures will reassure you that we have done as much as we can to ensure your safety when you are with us again.
